Episode S1Extra. Marc Twaite Podcast Extra .
In today’s Marc Twaite Podcast Extra, the former GB and Nottingham Panthers forward returns to introduce his new Autobiography.
“The Ice That Melted”
Marc, who also played ice hockey for the Milton Keynes Kings, Coventry Blaze, Cardiff Devils and Sheffield Steelers, was my very first guest on the show way back in October 2014.
He talked of his life as a hockey player and of how, at the age of just 27, injury forced him to retire from the game.
If you haven’t already listened to the interview, here’s the link, Episode 002 – The Marc Twaite Interview
It’s well worth a listen.
“The Ice That Melted” autobiography details the highs and lows of Marc’s life.
Through the years of living the dream as a top British ice hockey player, to the lows of having a life threatening injury that ended his playing career.
Marc talks of how his passion for angling, specifically Carp fishing, was instrumental in pulling him out of his injury despair and helped turn his life around.
We talk of his motivation for writing the book and the help gathering up his memories from family and friends.
Marc also hints at some of the “juicy stuff” that went on off the ice too.
It’s a book not to be missed – mine’s already on order.
As an extra extra, Marc talks about his brand new Spanish business venture.

Pre Order
You can pre-order your copy of “The Ice that Melted” today.
With the publication date due in March 2016, you won’t have long to wait for delivery.
As with many books these days, the print run is limited, I’d recommend ordering sooner, rather than later.

I hope that the book is a massive success, as I mentioned earlier my copy is already on order. I’m confident that it’s going to be a very good read.
